Unless you have been hiding under a rock for the past 5 years - you have definitely heard Verizon’s famous tag line – “Can You Hear Me Now?”   Today, with the announcement of the partnership between Axeda and Verizon – the M2M industry can now answer a resounding “Yes!”  Verizon Wireless joins AT&T Wireless and Sprint as network options for M2M developers wishing to utilize Axeda’s award-winning M2M cloud platform.

M2M is a very complex industry with 1000’s of applications. Each of those applications has unique and sometimes contradictory requirements.   Some applications require fast data rates, some low power consumption, some wide coverage, some excellent coverage in remote areas, some low costs, some business system connectivity, and some rich user experience – just to name a few.  It doesn’t take a mathematician to realize that the options are almost limitless.
