The SSPA/AFSMI "Winning Service Strategies in a Shifting Global Economy Conference" took place last week in Las Vegas.  We were really excited to be named a "Recognized Innovator"for the impact Axeda ServiceLink has on reducing the need for service and support organizations to roll trucks for service issues.

As I have written about before on this Blog and in M2M Magazine, manufacturers receive the dual benefit of cutting costs while reducing the carbon footprint when they implement remote service technology. The math is easy when you consider a field service visit can cost a company upwards of $500 per visit!  Anytime service expertise can be delivered remotely, both your company and the environment benefit.
