As all of our blog followers have surely seen, Axeda has now expanded its industry footprint with the acquisition of Questra.  As our CEO Dale Calder mentions in his December 22 blog entry, Axeda enjoyed its most successful year in 2008, and will leverage the synergies of the Questra technology to build an even stronger software platform as we move into 2009.

Over the years, you realize that there are a lot of common lessons learned when deploying remote service solutions.  At Axeda, we've identified some of the common missteps along the path of rolling out a remote service program.  We've taken internal measures to enhance our processes and methodologies, because in most cases you only have one opportunity to get it right.

As we meet our new customers, we're very focused on understanding their current state, carrying their programs forward, and helping them meet their initial expectations and ultimate returns for their program.  Customer success is paramount at Axeda.

New opportunities will present themselves to our newest customers in the form of our On- Demand platform.  Other opportunities will emerge for our overall customer base by using the best of Questra and Axeda in our next generation platform.  Some customers will continue with their current vision and strategy, others will seek the change that will differentiate themselves and provide a competitive advantage.

With the combined technologies and resources of these two great companies, 2009 and beyond will provide our new, current, and future customers, with all of the most valuable benefits that remote service has to offer.
